Mechanic of the year

Eddie McIlvain was named the Mechanic of the Year at the 25th annual STAK (Student Transportation Association of Kentucky) banquet on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.  Eddie was nominated for the award by Sammy Knell, and won the award when it was voted upon by the STAK governing board.  This is a tremendous honor and one in which Eddie was well-deserving.  His experience, attitude, and commitment to making the buses safe for students are evident in each work day.  Bath County puts over 370,000 miles on its’ buses every year, and the buses are safe because of Eddie’s leadership in the bus garage.
