BCHS Junior Chef Team

       

On August 19th, 2016, the BCHS Junior Chef team will be competing at the Kentucky State Fair.  The students will be making their dish, Shepherd's Pie, with Kentucky Proud food products.  The team will be competing against other High School Culinary Teams from across the state for scholarships from Sullivan University. 

The students competing are Timothy Damron, John Wells, Jr., and Dallas Cooper.  Coaches are Vickie Wells, Lee Ann Ramey, and Teresa Lane.


TSA National Conference

     

The Bath County High School Technology Student Association traveled to Nashville Tennessee this summer to compete in the National TSA Conference. This is the fifth straight year that the TSA have qualified for the Nationals. While at the nations the students received 11th place honors in Digital Video Productions and they also received 15th place honors in On Demand Video. There were over 7500 participants in this year’s nationals with almost 200 competitors in each of these categories. Congratulations, Mr. Ricky Prater, Allen Thomas, Gabe Jones, Logan Routt, Ryan Walters, Troyal Cox, and Dalton Richards .

 


BCHS Teacher serves on Advisory Committee for the TSA Board of Directors

Mr. Ricky Prater, Bath County High School, was selected to travel to Washington DC to represent the Kentucky Technology Student Association at this years’ National TSA advisor summit. Mr. Prater was one of 28 advisors from across the nation who met to establish goals for the national TSA organization and make suggestions for the national TSA board of directors.

BATH COUNTY SCHOOLS DESTRUCTION OF RECORDS NOTICE

in accordance with district procedures and records retention guidelines, the following special education records housed at the Bath County Board of Education will be destroyed: Special Education Due Process Records for former students whose year of birth is 1994 or before. Any person desiring a copy of his or her records before destruction must contact Christina Grace at 606.674.6314 or e-mail christina.grace@bath.kyschools.us or contact in person at the Board Office no later than August 31, 2016. 

Please note that former students may need this information for Social Security, Disability or employment purposes at some point.
