Kim earned her BA from Morehead State University in Elementary Education , MA in Elementary Education and a MA in Administration, She earned her Rank I in Supervision of Instruction with a certification in Director of Pupil Personnel and Superintendent. Kim taught elementary education for 11 years in Fleming County where she served on numerous committees. She was a Core Knowledge Coordinator, gifted/talented dance instructor, cheerleading sponsor, and a booster mom. Kim was a Director of Pupil Personnel for two years in Morgan County prior to coming to Bath County. She is now Director of Pupil Personnel, Safe Schools Coordinator, FRYSC Director, ESS Coordinator, Drug Testing Coordinator, Title I Coordinator, and Health Coordinator. Kim is also director of the Second Chance Academy, Graduation Success Academy, and night class.
Kim is serving as the KDPP Region #9 Representative for the Directors of Pupil Personnel and is also a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Flemingsburg. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and traveling. Kim lives with her husband, Ashton where they have a successful carpet cleaning business. She also enjoys spending time with her two daughters, Crystal and Kayla, both are employeed at St. Claire Hospital in Morehead, KY.
