Staff and Student Wi-fi How to

Both Staff and Students use the same portal, BATH, to access the wireless network.  Once your device is connected to BATH, you may be prompted to logon, via a logon page hosted by the Lightspeed filter, on personally owned devices (BYOD) and district owned devices.

Below is an example wifi access page.  Wireless access will require login with your email address and password. Activity on the wireless network can be tracked to the individual sign-on. If your device does not automatically pull up the logon page, enter https://bath.ls.kyschools.us/access/web/change_user in your web browser to logon to the wireless. Logins will timeout after 10 hours. You will be required to log in the device again in order to keep accessing the internet. On some devices, a “Sorry” page may load stating the site is not accessible. Click the “Not You?” below the blue bar to go to the login page.

 

Logon Page Example: Enter your full email address and password then click the “Login” button.

Sorry Page Login Example:

Click the “Not You?” below the blue bar to go to the login page. The "unknown user" will change to account after your device has logged in successfully. If your email address is listed, you are now logged into the filter. Staff may need to use “Not You?” link to acess websites that are blocked for students but allowed for staff, i.e., youtube, twitter.
