4th Grade Supply List

Ms. Pratt’s 4th Grade Supply List 2016-2017

(I changed a few items that are listed on the 4th grade supply list because I don't need some of the supplies and didn't think you should have to buy them.  I only added 1 extra composition notebook and told specific colors for the folders and notebooks that I would like my students to have.)  I also added some wish list items; but those are only if you want to buy them for us.)

Required Items

2 1-1/2 inch binders (one for agenda/homework) (one for data notebook)

3 composition notebooks (or more – I really like these and we may fill them up)

(1 for DOL/Journal, 1 for Math, and 1 for Social Studies)

3 plain two-pocket folders (red-reading, yellow-writing, green-science/math)

3 one-subject notebooks (red-reading, writing-yellow, green-science)

2 packs of post-it notes (we use these a lot in reading and writing)

4 packs of loose leaf paper

2 highlighters

1 red ink pen

1 box of Gallon size bags

3 boxes of 24-count pencils (no lead pencils)

1 box 24-count Crayola crayons

1 box of markers

1 pack of glue sticks

3 packs of Kleenex boxes

Reminder:

Pick up extra school supplies while they are on sale to keep at home as a backup and for homework!

Wish List items

Construction paper, colored printer paper, 1 box of gallon/quart-size Ziploc bags,1 pack of dry erase markers, tape, hand sanitizer, Lysol wipes/spray, bag of candy, extra Kleenex, envelopes, cardstock, poster board

No need to put names on any supplies.  Most will be used as classroom supplies (my students do not keep their own supplies since we do not have desks, only tables.)  The folders, notebooks, and binders will all have labels made by me and will be kept in students’ cubbies with their books.  So that students don’t fight over lead pencils, I prefer regular pencils instead.  I suggest having a pack of pencils that stay at home for homework as well.  Also, please don’t buy handheld sharpeners.  I do not allow these in class.
