In coming weeks students will be expected to draw the shapes that we are learning with pencil and paper, as well as build them with popsicle sticks. These are things that you can begin practicing at home.

We will be completing our first Math assessment this week covering 2D shapes!

We are now moving from learning about shapes to learning about numbers. Students should be able to count to 100 by the end of kindergarten. This is something that you can begin practicing at home. You can practice easily by letting your child count household objects, such as cereal or buttons. I will post some links to counting songs that we use in class below for you to enjoy at home as well.
