My name is Kimberly Collins. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Morehead State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts Early Elementary K-4 Degree in the area of Elementary K-4 with a science component. In 2003, I graduated once again with a 4.0 grade point average from Morehead State University with a Masters Degree in Elementary Education P-5 with an emphasis in reading. I was a member of the Math Leadership Support Network (PIMSR) in 2006-2007. I was a member of the Science Leadership Support Network (SLSN) in 2012-2013. I have taught kindergarten, third, fourth, and fifth graders during the past 18 years. I am excited about teaching fourth grade again this year. I believe that a student's academic success is reliant on three people...the teacher, the parent(s) and/or guardian(s), and most importantly the student. Good communication between all three participants is the key. I definitely enjoy working with each of my students and look forward to getting to know each and every one of them.
