Planning from 1:10 - 2:02

Hello!  My name is Morgan Ulery!  I am a 1998 graduate of Bath County High School and a 2013 graduate of Morehead State University.  My husband, Bobby, and I have been married for over 17 years.  We have two amazing sons, one in third grade at Crossroads Elementary and one in seventh grade at B.C.M.S.  We reside in Bath County, and have a deep love for our hometown!  I am extremely excited to be able to work in my hometown!

While obtaining my degree in Elementary Education at Morehead State I was accepted in a program called the PPN (Professional Partnership Network).  This program immerses you in different elementary classrooms where you can obtain experience that you can't gain anywhere else.  Although it took more effort and dedication, as I completed my methods courses, I also completed 650+ observation hours within a Rowan County elementary school, working with different grade levels.  Then I completed my student teaching at Crossroads Elementary, working in third grade and kindergarten.  After graduating, I spent the next six months substitute teaching in Bath and Montgomery counties.  Last year I taught second grade at Crossroads Elementary.  The two previous years I taught fifth grade, one year at Crossroads Elementary, and one year at Owingsville Elementary.  All of these opportunities helped shape me into the teacher that I am today!

I am so excited to be teaching fourth grade at Crossroads Elementary this year!  There are so many amazing changes that are taking place that will only add to the quality education and excitement of the safe, consistent, structured, family oriented atmosphere within our school!  To me, being a teacher is so much more than just providing my students with a quality education.  It is also my goal to make sure they feel loved and valued!  I am so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of their lives.  I believe that a student doesn't care how much you know, until they know how much you care.  I look forward to getting to know all of their families.  The more we work together, the more successful we will be.

It's going to be an amazing year!!!!!!
