Hello!  My name is Lee Ann Ramey and this is my 20th year teaching at Bath County High School.  I am a 1990 graduate of Bath County High School and feel privileged to work in such a great environment.

I have obtained my Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Vocational Home Economics from Morehead State University.  I completed my Rank I through the Continuing Education Option through the Kentucky Department of Education.  I am a trainer for the Orientation for Early Care & Education Professionals and a certified instructor/proctor for the ServSafe industry certifications.  

I am a member of the professional organizations National Association of Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences (NATFACS) and Kentucky Association of Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences (KATFACS).  I serve as the regional secretary for KATFACS.

The career pathways offered through the Family and Consumer Sciences department include Culinary & Food Services, Consumer & Family Management, and Fundamentals of Teaching.  To become a completer in either of these pathways, you must complete the four classes listed for each pathway.

Culinary & Food Services: FACS Essentials, Foods & Nutrition, Culinary Arts I, and Culinary Arts II.

Consumer & Family Managment: FACS Essentials, Relationships, Foods & Nutrition, and Middle to Late Lifespan Development.

Fundamentals of Teaching: FACS Essentials, Early Lifespan Development, Middle to Late Lifespan Development, and Principles of Teaching.

I am the adviser of the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and the Educators Rising (ER).  I am also a coach for the Junior Chef Farm to School team, along with Vickie Wells and Teresa Lane
