Wireless access will be changing soon. To simplify access, the BCS, BCS-Student and BCS-Staff wireless access portals will be replaced by a new service named BATH. Both Staff and Students will use the same portal, BATH, to access the wireless network. Once your device is connected to BATH, you will be prompted to logon, via a logon page hosted by the Lightspeed filter, on iPods, iPads, Kindles and all personally owned devices (BYOD).
Below is an example wifi access page. Wireless access will require login with your email address and password. Activity on the wireless network can be tracked to the individual sign-on. If your device does not automatically pull up the logon page, enter http://lsaccess.me/login in your web browser to logon to the wireless. You may also log off a device by using http://lsaccess.me/logout. Logins will timeout after 10 hours. You will be required to log in the device again in order to keep accessing the internet. On some devices, a “Sorry” page may load stating the site is not accessible. Click the “Not You?” in the black bar at the top of the page to go to the login page.
During this transition period, you may proceed with connecting your personally owned devices, district and school owned ipads, ipods and kindles that use BCS-Staff and BCS-Student to the BATH wifi network. This will ensure your device will have access after January 1. District owned windows laptops will automatically configure with new settings and do NOT require any action from the user. The old wifi networks, BCS-Student and BCS-Staff, will be removed on January 1 and will not be available after that date.
If your windows device has not been powered on or used on campus in the last two weeks, you will need to manually connect to the BATH wifi the first time.
