The BCHS junior Chef team competed at the Kentucky State Fair on Thursday, August 24th and placed 3rd in the state with their Wildcat Grilled Chicken Mac.
The competition is sponsored by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. Dishes that are prepared must meet specific guidelines, which include - being school cafeteria friendly and use of Kentucky Proud Products. The overall winning dish will be added to the school Cafeteria menus across the state.
The Jr. Chef Team is coached by Lee Ann Ramey and Vickie Wells, proud sponsors of the Kentucky Proud, Farm to School and local farmers. The team consists of Leeann Reed, Lydia Bell, Andy Clark, and team captain - John Wells, Jr.
