MAKO Labs Covid-19 Testing Updates

Bath County Families:

Our main priority is to keep our students in school and maximize their learning experience.  We are proud to partner with MAKO Labs to offer Covid – 19 testing sites at our schools to help us reduce the amount of time our students/staff are quarantined and to help reduce the spread of Covid- 19.

NEW: MAKO Labs can now test our students/Staff and ANY other persons living in their household!!

We encourage everyone to register with MAKO to make your Covid – 19 testing process easier and faster.  Registration is only required once, no matter how many times you or your student are tested.

Students under 18 will not be tested without a signed MAKO written consent form each time tested. One consent form has been sent home with each student, can be found on our Bath County Schools website and can be picked up at each school location.

We would also like to encourage all of our sports teams to test regularly to reduce the number of quarantines and positive cases from increasing.

The first testing site is at the Bath County High School, Tuesday September 7th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Gym Lobby entrance. Any student/staff member and persons living in the students/staff members home in our district can test at this location.

Thank you for working together with us to decrease the amount of time our students are out of the buildings due to quarantines and illness.
