  • February 14th, 2018

    Bellwork:

•As you come in, you will get a drawing from yesterday.

•Look at the random lines and shapes. You must use what is on your paper to draw an objective (can be abstract) drawing. You may not erase lines, you can only add to it. Again, it cannot be non-objective. It must be of something.

•Agenda: Bellwork, Art 2 Charcoal, Art 4 3 Point, Review.

  • February 13, 2018

    Bellwork:

•Grab your portfolio on the way in.

•Grab a sheet of copy paper.

•On your paper, QUICKLY draw 8 random lines and two random shapes. Do not try to make anything, just draw lines and shapes. They can overlap or be totally separate. Write your name on  the back.

  • February 7, 2018

    Bellwork:

•After you come in, I will give you one of the drawings we started yesterday. DO NOT LOOK AT THE OTHER SIDE!! You are to complete the drawing based ONLY on what you see on the side I give you. Do not erase any lines, you need to use all available lines since they connect to something on the other side. Remember this is an objective drawing so no non-objective stuff. Your drawing must be of something. Do not try and figure out what is on the other side, simply finish the drawing based on what you think the lines want to be. Again, DO NOT LOOK AT THE OTHER SIDE!!

Agenda: Bellwork (exquisite corpse,) Art 2 CCW, Art 4 MSU, Review

  • February 6, 2018

    Bellwork:

•As you come in you need a 9 X 12 art paper and ruler. Look at the example of how to lay out your paper on the front table.

•Turn your paper portrait style. Measuring from the top of your paper, put a light horizontal line across your paper 6 ½ “ from the top. Draw a picture as if you were filling the entire page but stop at the horizontal line.

•You may draw anything SA (school appropriate) BUT your drawing must be figurative. (No nonobjective compositions.) In other words your drawing must be of something, not just patterns or designs. No looking at others or sharing out. Use your super sneaky ninja skills to keep your drawing a secret. Do simple line drawings that are large scale and filling the entire page without too many small details to give away what your drawing is. No shading.

Agenda: Bellwork, Art 2: Creative Color Wheel, Art 4: MSU Project.
